NIHR Research Design Service Yorkshire and the Humber
Description
The National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) funded Research Design Service Yorkshire and the Humber (RDS YH) is one of 10 regional services across England providing design and methodological support to health researchers who are developing research funding applications. RDS YH supports research teams to develop and submit high quality applied health and social care grant applications to NIHR and other national peer-reviewed funding programmes.
Public involvement in research
We offer:
Support to researchers, to enable them to engage with patients and the public during the development of their grant applications. We do this through our Public Involvement in Grant Applications Funding Award;
Advice and support for researchers on patient and public involvement (PPI);
On-line PPI advice and information via our website;
Information on relevant groups and networks locally and regionally who may be interested in collaborating with researchers.
